Terms & Conditions

📌 1. General Terms

Kind Grammar School ("the School") is a private educational institution registered under the educational laws of Punjab, Pakistan. These Terms apply to all students, parents, guardians, and visitors who interact with the School.

By submitting an admission application or enrolling a student, the parent/guardian ("Parent") agrees to abide by all current and future rules, policies, and guidelines of the School. The School reserves the right to update these Terms, and continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of any changes.

📝 2. Admission Policy

Admission to Kind Grammar School is granted at the sole discretion of school management based on available capacity, entry test results, and interview performance.

• All information provided in the admission form must be accurate. False information may result in immediate cancellation of admission.
• Admission is provisional until all required documents are submitted and verified.
• The School reserves the right to refuse or withdraw admission for any student who does not meet academic, behavioral, or health requirements.
• Mid-year admissions are subject to seat availability and may require additional assessment.

💰 3. Fee Policy

School fees are due on or before the 10th of each calendar month. Late payments may attract a fine of Rs. 200 per month after the grace period.

• Fees are non-refundable once the academic year has commenced, except in extraordinary circumstances at management's discretion.
• A one-time non-refundable admission fee is charged upon enrollment confirmation.
• Fee increases for subsequent years will be notified to parents at least one month in advance.
• Failure to pay fees for 2 consecutive months may result in suspension of the student from classes until dues are cleared.
• Textbooks, stationary, examination fees, and transport charges are separate from tuition fees unless specified otherwise.

Students on scholarship or fee concession plans must maintain the eligibility criteria specified at the time of award. Failure to meet criteria may result in withdrawal of the concession.

🤝 4. Code of Conduct

All students are expected to uphold the values of Kind Grammar School — integrity, respect, and compassion. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any student or staff member in any form
• Use of abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language
• Possession or use of mobile phones during school hours without permission
• Damage to school property or another student's belongings
• Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty
• Bringing dangerous objects, weapons, or prohibited substances onto campus

Violations may result in disciplinary action including written warning, suspension, or expulsion depending on severity. Parents will be notified of serious disciplinary incidents.

📅 5. Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is mandatory. Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for examinations and promotion to the next grade.

• Absences must be notified to the school office on the day of absence via phone or school diary note.
• A medical certificate is required for illness-related absences of 3 or more consecutive days.
• Planned absences (travel, events) must be pre-approved by the class teacher and vice principal.
• Habitual late arrival will be treated as a disciplinary matter and parents will be called in.

🎓 6. Academic Policy

Students are expected to complete all assigned homework, projects, and examinations. Failure to meet academic requirements may result in:

• Mandatory remedial classes at parent's expense
• Grade retention (non-promotion) if minimum passing criteria are not met
• Academic probation with formal notice to parents

The School follows the national grading system. Examination results are final unless a formal re-checking request is submitted within 7 days of result announcement.

🚌 7. Transport Rules

Students using school transport must follow transport rules and instructions of the transport staff at all times.

• Students must be present at the designated stop at the scheduled time. The van will not wait more than 3 minutes.
• Misbehavior in the transport vehicle may result in suspension of transport services.
• Transport fees are separate and must be paid monthly. Non-payment will result in suspension of transport access.
• The School is not liable for accidents or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, emergencies).

🏫 8. School Property

Students and parents are responsible for any damage caused to school property, equipment, or facilities. The cost of repair or replacement of any damaged item will be charged to the responsible student's parent/guardian.

The School is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings brought onto campus, including electronic devices, jewelry, or cash.

📸 9. Media & Photography

By enrolling a student, parents grant Kind Grammar School permission to use photographs and videos of students taken at school events for educational, promotional, and social media purposes, unless a written opt-out is submitted to the school office.

Parents and visitors are not permitted to photograph or video record other students without explicit consent. Photography of staff or school facilities for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

⚠️ 10. Termination of Enrollment

Either party may terminate enrollment under the following conditions:

By the School:

• Persistent non-payment of fees despite warnings
• Serious breach of code of conduct after disciplinary process
• Failure to meet re-admission criteria for the next academic year

By the Parent:

• Written withdrawal notice must be submitted at least 30 days in advance
• A school leaving certificate will be issued only after all dues are cleared
• Transfer certificate will be issued within 10 working days of clearance

⚖️ 11. Limitation of Liability

Kind Grammar School takes all reasonable precautions to ensure student safety on campus. However, the School shall not be held liable for injuries arising from normal sports activities, accidents outside school premises, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Parents are strongly encouraged to ensure adequate personal accident insurance coverage for their children.

📄 12. Amendments to These Terms

Kind Grammar School reserves the right to amend, update, or revise these Terms at any time. Parents will be notified of material changes via school diary, SMS, or email. Continued enrollment after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
